A lot has changed since we last published a tips article nearly two years ago. New versions of Microsoft's core software packages—Windows Vista and Office 2007—have been released, and the Internet has taken an even more central role in daily life. Our latest tips guide has likewise changed, now offering shortcuts for working with Microsoft's latest programs, as well as with Web-based e-mail apps such as Gmail, Hotmail, and Yahoo Mail, plus popular Internet services such as MySpace and YouTube. We haven't completely tossed out the old, however—also read on for new tips for what's now "legacy" software, such as Office 2003 and Windows XP. And if you want to publish your own user tips, head to our Forums and share the knowledge.
